Christine A. (DeMatteo) Lenhart

Christine A. Lenhart, 60, of New Tripoli, PA. passed away on November 30, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare at Lehigh Center, Macungie, PA. after a long battle with cancer.  She was the wife of the late Ray E. Lenhart who died in 2008.  Born in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Marie (Kopena) DeMatteo.  Christine was formerly employed at Aetna Life Insurance Co., Fort Washington, PA until 1999. She was a 1976 graduate of Marian High School. Christine was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, PA. Survivors include Karen (Ted) Borzymowski, Janet (Jim) Pratt, the Lenhart Family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, PA., with a calling period from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment in Jerusalem (Red) Union Church Cemetery, Kempton, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name can be sent directly to Forgotten Felines and Fidos, Inc., P.O. Box 62 Germansville, PA 18053.
