Carol A. & Harvey H. Hartung, Jr.

Harvey H. Hartung, Jr., 78, and Carol A. (Rehrig) Hartung, 79, both of Schnecksville, PA passed away at home on Saturday, May 18, 2024. They were married on April 5, 1969. Harvey was the son of the late Harvey H. (Mildred) Hartung. Carol was the daughter of the late Reuben T. (Hermeta) Rehrig.

Harvey was a 1963 graduate of Parkland High School in Allentown, PA. After graduation, he enlisted with the US Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. After his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Kutztown University. Harvey was a supervisor for Bozzuto’s Inc. in Allentown until retiring in 2022.

Carol was a 1962 graduate of Dieruff High School in Allentown. She later earned her LPN from Allentown School of Practical Nursing in 1966.Carol was an LPN at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown for 37 years until retirement.

Harvey and Carol are survived by their loving son, James H. (Jennifer T.) Hartung of Lenhartsville, PA, and their granddaughter, Liana Franceska D. Tiamzon.

There will be a private double graveside memorial service held at the convenience of the family at Ebenezer Union Cemetery in New Tripoli, PA. Pastor Heidi Lundquist will officiate.
