Carol A. (Gottschling) Wallace

Carol A. Wallace, 72, of Breinigsville, PA, passed away at home on July 30, 2025. Born in Abington, PA, Carol was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna M. (Kirby) Gottschling. She was a graduate of Moon Valley High School in Phoenix, AZ.

Carol lived on her own terms. She had a strong spirit, a sharp sense of humor, and a way of doing things that was uniquely her own. Her final years were marked by solitude and quiet perseverance in the face of ongoing health challenges.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Erin E. Funk and Elizabeth M. Smith; sons, David Smith, Jason Gottschling, and Casey Smith; ten grandchildren; brothers, Bruce Gottschling and Mark Gottschling; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William Gottschling.

A private celebration of life will be held at the family's convenience.
