Brian D. Fusselman, 66, of Kempton, PA passed away on March 25, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the widower of Diane S. (Weller) Fusselman, who passed away in 2018. Brian was born in Allentown, PA, a son of the late James George, Jr and Barbara L. (Althouse) Fusselman. He was a 1977 graduate of Kutztown High School, where he later served as a 1977 reunion committee member. Brian furthered his education by attending the Lincoln Technical Institute, earning an associate degree in diesel mechanics.
He went on to work as a diesel mechanic and later became a maintenance supervisor for F.A. Rohrbach Concrete Construction in Allentown for nearly 30 years until 2018. Brian last worked for Kermit K. Kistler, Inc. in New Tripoli. He was an active member of Jacob's Church in New Tripoli, where he served as soundman for Sunday worship services. He loved cooking for various church dinners, often preparing his favorite family recipe for potato filling. He also assisted with VBS and Easter events and served as a committee member for the church's 250th anniversary celebration. Brian was a very talented artist. He created beautiful drawings of Jacob's Church that have been used in the church bulletin and the 250th anniversary book, among other publications. His impressive illustrations of the church buildings are currently showcased in the church activity center. Brian also contributed to the community through various volunteer roles, including volunteering at various events with the Lynnport Fire Company, volunteering for 4-H in Carbon and Lehigh Counties, and serving on the PDC for Lehigh County 4-H. He was a former board member and volunteer for both the Kempton Country Fair and the Mountain Springs Country Fair, volunteered at the Kutztown Folk Festival, and judged baked goods for the PA Beekeepers at the PA Farm Show. Brian's service to others continued even after he entered eternal rest, as he became an organ donor. He enjoyed hunting, camping, drawing, watching movies, decorating the front yard for the holidays with inflatables and flags, playing solitaire, collecting pins, collecting skunk items, and most of all being with his beloved family.
