Betty J. Miller 79, formerly of Lynnport, Pa. passed away on Tuesday evening Jan. 7, 2014 in Allentown, Pa. She was the wife of Carl B. Miller, Sr., having celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on January 2, 2014. She was born in Andreas, Pa a daughter of the late Milton X. and LaVerne E. ( Gilbert) Frantz, Sr. She was formerly employed as a school bus driver for the Northwestern School District and later as a ticket taker for the Pa. Turnpike Commission. Survivors besides her husband includes three daughters, Linda M. Miller, Orefield, Pa.,Sandra E. wife of Ray E. Kline of Bally, Pa. and Cindy M. wife of Scott Erney of New Ringgold, Pa.; a son Carl B. Miller, Jr. and his wife Jenny of News Tripoli; a brother Milton X. Frantz Jr. and his wife Edna, of Berlin, NJ; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons Terry Miller and Charles “Chip” Miller. Memorial Service, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at 11:30 AM in Jacobs Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa., with a visitation period beginning at 10:30 AM.
