Anna E. (Kline) Strunk

Anna E. (Kline) Strunk, 90, of Kempton, PA, passed away at home on February 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of Russell O. Strunk, with whom she celebrated 71 years of marriage in September of 2021. Anna was born in Reading, PA, a daughter of the late Carroll and Bertha (Fields) Kline. She was a 1949 graduate of Kutztown High School and later went on to work as the head cook for the Kutztown School District for many years. Anna was a member of New Bethel Church in Kempton.  In addition to her devoted husband, survivors include her son, Dennis C. (Carol) Strunk of Kempton; daughter, Darlene C. Kunkel of Kempton; daughter-in-law, Delores Strunk of Hamburg; four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, David C. Strunk and her sisters, Dorothy Smith and Florence Hauser. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM in New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Road Kempton, PA 19529, with a calling period to begin at 10:00 AM. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Rev. Robert Ziemer will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli, PA.
