Jean E. (Miller) Follweiler

Jean E. Follweiler, 84, of Kutztown, formerly of Kempton, Pa. passed away on September 3, 2017 in the Laurel Living Center, Hamburg, Pa. She was preceeded in death by her husband George J. Follweiler in 1970.  She was born in Albany Township, a daughter of the late Jesse P. and Esther B. (Kunkel) Miller. Jean was last employed by the Topton Lutheran Home until retiring in 1993. Prior to that, during the 1970’s, she was the owner and operator of the Krumsville Hotel. She also worked the family farm in Kempton for many years. She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton.

Survivors includes four sons, Dennis G.(Monica) Follweiler, Kutztown, Bruce D.(Luisa) Follweiler, Bobby B. (LeAnn) Follweiler and Dale K.( Michele) Follweiler, all of Kempton, Pa; a sister Linda Miller, Hamburg; two brothers, Marlin Miller and Larry (Diane) Miller of Kempton; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a great-great- granddaughter. She was predeceased also by two sisters, Fern Boltz and Nancy Swisher.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa, with a visitation period beginning at 10:00 AM.  Rev. David W. Blitch will officiate. Interment will be in the New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, Pa
