Craig L. Holben, 47, of Kutztown, PA passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2018 in Palmer Township, PA. He was born in Allentown, PA, a son to Herman S. and Karen M. (Pradel) Holben. Craig was a 1988 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School. He was a driver for Glenn Moyer Trucking in New Tripoli, PA and later drove truck for Mesko in Allentown, PA. Craig was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing, and hunting, but above all, he loved being a dad to his two beautiful children. In addition to his loving parents, survivors include a son, Nevin S. Holben of Tamaqua, PA; daughter, Lauren Holben of Orefield, PA; fiance, Janet Ross at home; sister, Dana L. Holben and her Fiance Michael Stebbins of Tafton, PA; brother, Nathan S. Holben of Charlotte, NC; half-brother, Joshua D. Williams of Rock Hill, SC; grandfather, Joseph Pradel of Bushnell, FL and a grandmother, Audrey Niedermeyer of Catasauqua, PA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Sterling and Lillian (Young) Holben. Craig’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM. Rev. Gary Whittington will officiate. Everyone is invited to an alcohol-free luncheon immediately following the service in the Lynnport Fire Company, New Tripoli, PA. To help off-set Craig’s final expenses, donations can be made directly to the funeral home.
