Charles A. Waskiewicz, 75, of Tamaqua, PA., formerly of Warminster, PA., passed away in his home on November 25, 2019. He was the longtime companion of Lila I. Womer for the past seventeen years. Charles was born in Maywood, NJ., a son to the late John and Dorothy (Newcomb) Waskiewicz. He was the former owner of an archery and gun shop at the Quakertown Farmer’s Market, and he also worked as a Security Guard for the former Deravin Security Services. Charles was a member of the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club in Lehighton, PA., and he was a lifetime NRA member. In addition to his loving companion, survivors include a step-daughter, Mary, wife of Timothy Van Blargan, Sr. of Tamaqua, PA.; step-sister-in-law, Vanessa Sterner of Allentown, PA.; grandchildren, Khalan and Khrystyna Van Blargan, Alexis and Alecia Bausch, and Christopher Cincilla; beloved pets, Graucho and Stripes. Charles’ memorial service will be held on November 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA. 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to help offset his final expenses sent c/o funeral home address above.
