Marian E. Bailey

Marian E. Bailey, 78, of Slatington, PA, passed away at her home on Sunday April 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lynn Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Naomi (Long) Bailey. She was a 1963 graduate of Northwestern High School.

Marian worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Lynn Kempton Sportswear Company for many years. She later worked as a clerk at Weis Markets in Schnecksville, PA, until retiring in 2013. Marian was a member of New Bethel Church in Kempton, PA.

Marian is survived by her loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Franklin, Richard, and John Bailey; sisters, Lucille Hamm, Janet German, Christine Kamp, and Anna Handwerk.

Marian’s memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli. The visitation period will begin at 10 AM. Interment immediately following memorial service in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Rev. James W. LeVan will officiate.
