Theresa M. Ohl, 86 of New Tripoli, Pa. passed away at her residence, in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. She was preceeded in death by her husband Earl W. Ohl in 1974. She was born in Tamaqua a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Shilko) Yacobenas.
She was of the UCC Faith. She was also a graduate of Newton Falls High School, Newton Falls, Ohio. Survivors includes two daughters Marie J. wife of Gary Salabsky, Defiance, Ohio, Ann T., wife of Wayne Horn of New Tripoli; two sons, Earl A. Ohl and Michael J. Ohl, both at New Tripoli, with whom she resided; a sister Rita V. Follweiler; four grandchildren, a step-grandaughter, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and a nephew and their families. She was recently predeceased by her brother Richard A. Yacobenas on November 6, 2015.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Rev. Al Voorhis will officiate. Inurnment will directly follow in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in her memory are requested to be sent to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 South 12th Street, Allentown, Pa. 18103.
