Scott M. Feinour

Scott M. Feinour, 53, of New Tripoli, Pa. passed  away unexpectedly on Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa.  He was the husband of Stephanie L.( Ehrets) Feinour, having celebrated their 27th wedding aniversary in October 2015.  He was born in Allentown, a son of Judith E.( Leiby) (Feinour), wife of Allen H. Newhard of Slatington, Pa. and the late Ira E. Feinour.  He was employed as a carpenter for Best Building Co. New Tripoli, since 1991. He was a member of Jacobs Church, New Tripoli.  Scott was a 1980 Graduate of Northwestern High School.  He was a life member of both the Lynnport Fire Co. and the New Tripoli Fire Co., where he was also a former active fire fighter.  He was a member of the Junior Order of United Mechanics and the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, both of New Tripoli. Scott was and avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at his cabin in Sullivan County.  Survivors besides his wife includes a daughter, Kaitlin B., wife of Ray Sacks, Mertztown and a son Stone Scott Feinour at home; a sister Nicole L. Feinour of Farmington, Maine and two brothers, Steve I. Feinour and his wife Marnie and Chris D. and his wife Shani, both of New Tripoli. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Novembr 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Jacobs Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with calling hours beginning at 9:30 AM.  Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.  Interment will take place in adjoining cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stone Scott Feinour Education Fund, sent to the Nester Funeral Home-8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066. Contributions may also be made in his memory to the Jacobs Church Memorial fund, sent to the above church address.
