Ruth A. Landis, 57, of Kutztown, passed away on Tuesday,October 11, 2016 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was born in Allentown, a daughter of the late Homer A. and Lovie V. (Bailey) Snyder. She was employed as a painter for the former Snyder Painting Co. of Kempton, Pa. until retiring due to disability. Survivors includes a daughter Michele R. Landis and her companion, Brett Gift of Lenhartsville; sons David B. ( Tanya) Snyder of Kutztown and Michael M. (Stacy) Landis, Shenandoah; a sister Betty L. wife of Dan Brocious, Germanville; brothers, Glenn C. (Elizabeth) Snyder, Kempton, Alton S. (Anna) Snyder, Virginville and Randall H.(Ginny) Snyder of New Tripoli, her companion Noel Ream and five grandchildren. Ruth’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 9:30 AM. Rev. David W. Blitch will officiate. Interment will be in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help defray Ruth’s final expenses may be sent to the Funeral Home at the above address.
