Raymond S. Bobiak, 95, of Kempton, PA. passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. He and his wife, Lorraine L. (Kemmerer) Deily-Bobiak, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this past September. Born in Pleasant Valley, PA., he was the son of the late Bruno and Louisa (Reichert) Bobiak. Raymond was the former owner of Sam’s Delicatessen in Quakertown, PA. in the 1960’s and was later employed as a welder for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Bethlehem, PA. until retiring in 1985. Raymond volunteered his time for a semester as a welding instructor for the Kutztown School District. He was a member of Jacobs Church, New Tripoli, PA and the Kempton Fire Company. Raymond loved his family and his John Deere Tractor. He often enjoyed hosting family parties and celebrations. Survivors include his loving wife; two sons, Leroy W. (Cheryl) Deily of Coopersburg, PA. and Shawn R. Deily at home; six daughters, April L.R. wife of the late Daniel Nauroth of Coopersburg, PA., Raeann Deily of Greenlane, PA., Roxann A. Deily at home, Joann G. wife of John Kolosow of Kutztown, PA., Louann E.R. wife of Dale Reppert of Kutztown, PA. and Leann L. wife of Michael Sacks of Mertztown, PA.; seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren and nineteen great great-grandchildren. Raymond was predeceased by a son Ralph Deily and three siblings; Michael, Adolph and Matilda Bobiak. His funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM. in Jacobs Church, 8373 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA. 18066 with a calling hour to begin at 9:30 AM. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate. Interment immediately following the service at Jerusalem (Red) Church Cemetery, Kempton, PA.
