Mary Ann Glennon

Mary A. Glennon, 68, of Allentown, Pa. lost her long and very courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Westminster Nursing Home, Allentown, Pa.  She was born in Santa Cruz, California, a daughter of the late Thomas and Donica (Pokriotes) Glennon.  Mary was a 1965 graduate of Northampton High School.  She also attended Central Catholic High School for some time.  She was a member of the Columbian Home Association, and the American Legion in Allentown.  Mary was known for her love of dancing and music.  She was a very talented and enthusiastic DJ for many years.  One of her favorite things to do was to jump in her convertible, turn up the tunes, and just drive wherever her mood took her.  Many times this led her to California, or some sort of sunny beach.  If you were lucky enough to know Mary, you remember a fun-loving individual, with a great deal of energy, and a very generous heart. Survivors include longtime friends Joanna Hughes, Jessica Hughes, Amanda Ebeling, among many other dear friends.   A celebration of Mary’s life, hosted by her loving friends, will take place at Diamonz Nite Club 1913 W. Broad Street in Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 2:00PM.
