June J. Heil, 86, passed away in her residence in Germansville, Pa. on Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was preceeded in death by her husband, James A. Heil in 2000. She was born in Allentown, a daughter of the late Elmer and Verna (Lester) Dreisbach. She was formerly employed at various garment manufacturers in the Lehigh Valley area, during the 1950’s and 1960’s. She last worked for the McDonalds Restaurant in Schnecksville, on a part time basis. She was a member of Heidelberg Lutheran Church, Slatington, Pa.
June is survived by her daughter, Linda M. Heil, at home; a son Daniel J. (Barbara) Heil currently of Allentown; two grandchildren, Josh and Jennah Heil and a beloved great grandson Blaze Heil. She was the last survivor of ten siblings. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor Karen A. Yonney will officiate. Interment will take place in Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are requested to Heidelberg Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 5187 Irvin Road, Slatington, Pa. 18080
