Jennifer A. (Smith) Snyder

Jennifer A. (Smith) Snyder, 44 of New Tripoli, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.  She was born in Palmerton, a daughter of Iris D.( Steigerwalt), ( Smith) , wife of Paul F. Womer, Kempton, Pa. and the late Harley C. Smith.  She was currently employed as a sales person for Womer Memorial, Kempton, Pa. She was involved as a craft show organizer for various local organizations. Jennifer also made and sold her own line of homemade soaps, being affectionately known as the soap lady. She was a 1989 graduate of Northwestern High School, where she was a member of the school marching band. She was also a 1991 graduate of Allentown School of Business. Jennifer liked traveling, going to craft shows, watching wrestling and soap operas. Survivors besides her mother and stepfather includes a maternal grandmother, Pearl E. Steigerwalt, Lehighton; a sister, Eileen L. wife of Donald F. Myers of Germansville; a brother Gary P. Womer, Kempton; an uncle Alton Steigerwalt, Lehighton and several nieces and nephews.  She will also be sadly missed by her faithful dog Abby. She was predeceased by her aunt Nina I. Getz.  Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with calling hours Sunday, 6 to 7:30 PM and Monday from 10 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate. Interment will take place in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Forgotten Felines and Fidos, Inc. 6022 Mountain Rd., Germansville, Pa. 18053.
