Jean M. Huffort, 50 passed away on August 13, 2015 in her residence in Lynnport, New Tripoli, Pa. She was the wife of Duane E. Huffort, having celebrated their 30th wedding aniversary in March of 2015. She was born in Allentown, a daughter of the late William H. and Velma L. (Grogg) Lick. She was briefly employed by the former Garden State Tanning Co., Fleetwood, Pa. Jean was a 1983 graduate of Northwesteren High School. She was of the protestant faith. Survivors besides her husband includes four sons, Brandon D. Huffort, Fogelsville, Colby W. Huffort, New Tripoli , Christian T. Huffort, Kempton and Canon L. Huffort at home; Sister, Lawrene Correll, Buffalo NY,and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings LaVaughn Jackson, Randy Kesling and Larry Jackson. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Nester Funeral Home- 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at Noon. Rev. Mary Ann Hamm will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the family to help offset her final expenses, sent to the funeral home.
