Irene M. (Hamm) Dietrich, 89, formerly of New Tripoli and Kempton passed away Tuesday morning, December 12, 2017 at Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli. Irene was born in Lynn Township on March 23, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Francis A. and Elsie M. (Howerter) Hamm and the wife of the late Ethan O. Dietrich for 64 years at the time of his death in 2010. Irene was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church in Stony Run, PA and of the Union Fire Company #1 (Beneficial Association) in Hamburg, PA.
She is survived by a daughter Betty Ann Davis of New Tripoli and her companion Chester Hartranft; Three grandchildren, Richard, Michael, and Peter Davis; Six great-grandchildren, Myles, Maggie, Mikayla, Marissa, Marshall and Mason Davis.
She was predeceased by a brother Ralph F. Hamm and a sister Eva M. Chroust.
Services at 10:30 AM on Saturday December 16, 2017 in Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road Stony Run, PA 19529. Call 9:30 AM until time of service. Sister Milicent Drake will officiate. Interment will take place in Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.
