George David Jones

George David Jones, 59, of New Ringgold, PA passed away Wednesday evening February 28, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA after being stricken at his business.  He was the husband of Deborah A. (Klotz) Jones, with whom he happily spent the last 20 years. George was born in Pottsville, PA a son of the late Hazel (Hower) Blinkhorne and a step-son of Robert Blinkhorne of Catasauqua, PA.  He was the owner and operator of George Jones 309 Auto, Tire, Service and Sales Company formerly of Germansville and later of New Tripoli since 1993. George took a great interest in cars and he loved to travel, but above all, he loved his family. He was known for his spontaneity and his loving and generous heart.  In addition to his step-father and loving wife, survivors include two daughters, Lori A. Bolasky of Kempton and Sara N. Kraus of Nesquehoning; two sons, Scott D. (Emily) Bolasksy of Conshohocken, PA and Denver R. Jones and wife Elecia Taylor of Yorktown, VA.; step-son, Nathan D. Handwerk of Walnutport; four sisters, Patty wife of Jim Farbo of Ephrata, Carolyn wife of Butch Steward of Lehighton,  Betsy Matz of Allentown,  and Heather wife of Steven Gyecsek of Northampton; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law.  His memorial service will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a visitation period beginning at 10:00 AM.  Rev. Todd A. Glasmire will officiate.   In lieu of flowers, there are two separate ways to make a contribution in George’s name.
