Eva M. Chroust, 86, of Bath, Pa. passed away in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest facility, Allentown, on Friday evening August 5, 2016. She was the loving wife of Conrad M. Chroust, having celebrated their 63rd wedding aniversary in December of 2015. She was born in Lynn Township, Pa. a daughter of the late Francis A. and Elsie M. (Howerter) Hamm. She worked along-side her husband, on the family farm, for many years until retiring in 1998. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bath, Pa.
Survivors besides her husband includes a daughter, Carol M., wife of Leo G. O’Donnell of Bath, Pa. and a sister, Irene M. Dietrich of New Tripoli, Pa. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph F. Hamm.
Eva’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, Pa. 18014, with a calling hour beginning at 1:00 PM. Rev. Elizabeth M. Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining Valley View Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in her memory to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, sent to the above church address.
