Elwood L. Rumfield , 96, of Schnecksville, Pa. passed away in the presence of his family on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Above and Beyond Personal Care Facility, Allentown, Pa. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Feinour) Rumfield, having celebrated their 74th wedding aniversary in February of 2015. He was born in Guthsville, Pa. a son of the late Leon and Minnie (Guth) Rumfield. Elwood was employed as a specialty gas mixer for Air Products and Chemicals Co., Hometown, Pa. for 27 years retiring in 1982. Survivors besides his wife includes two daughters, Rosalie M. wife of Thomas L. Bollinger, of Walnutport, Jeannine K. Tease and her companion Gary Seymour, Jr. of Emmaus; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great- granddaughter. His Funeral service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family from the Nester Funeral Home- 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066. No calling hours. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions in his memory may be sent to Jacobs Church Memorial Fund, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066.
