Ellen F. Reppert, 98, of Kutztown, formerly of Allentown, passed away on April 4, 2015 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa. She was the wife of the late Norman A. Reppert, Sr. She was born in Weisenberg Township, a daughter of the late Francis and Bertha ( Peters) Hartman. Ellen was formerly employed as a cook and baker for both the Kempton Hotel and former SkyView Restaurant, Krumsville, until retirement. She was a member of the UCC Congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville, Pa.
Her survivors includes four daughters, Betty Anicola, Kutztown, Jean Moore, Schnecksville, Darlene ( David) Dittrick, Laurel, Delaware, Dawn Reppert, Kutztown; three sons, Donald Hartman and his companion, Nancy Kramer, Topton, Norman (Juana) Reppert, Jr., Dennis ( Debbie) Reppert,Sr., Kutztown; two sisters, Annie Ely, Kutztown, Joyce ( Jay) Sacks, Mertztown; a brother, Russell Hartman, Hamburg; 21 grandchildren,46 great-grandchildren, 42 great-great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Harold Hartman, a grandson Blaine Price, Jr.; sisters Bertha Adams, Ruth Dries; and brothers, Henry, Irwin, Paul and Milton Hartman.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa.18066, with calling hours beginning at 12:30 PM. Rev. Candi Caine-Borgman will officiate. Interment in Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, Pa. In lieu of flowers contributions in her name are requested sent to the ALS Assn., Western Pa. Chapter, Lincoln Ave., Pittsburg, Pa.15209.
