Conrad M. Chroust, 87, of Bath, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, Pa. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Eva M. (Hamm) Chroust on August 5, 2016. He was born in Moore Township, a son of the late Anton N. and Anna G. ( Bittenbender) Chroust. He was a life long owner and operator of E.and C. Chroust Farms in Moore Township. He was also a self employed truck driver, transporting farm products to and from Florida and New York, until retiring in 2014. Conrad was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bath, Pa. He is survived by a daughter, Carol M., wife of Leo G. O’Donnell of Bath, Pa. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Stephen A.,Walter J.and Robert H. Chroust. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, Pa. 18014, with a calling hour beginning at 1:00 PM. Pastor Elizabeth M. Mitchell will officiate. Burial will take place in the adjoining Valley View Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home- New Tripoli, Pa. Memorial contributions in his memory are requested to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund sent to the above church address.
