Alden R. Whateley

Alden R. “Rich” Whateley, 52, of New Ringgold, Pa.died February 10, 2017 in the St. Lukes Hospital and Health Network, Coaldale Campus. He was the husband of the late Susan L (Kromer) Whateley.  He was born in Long Branch, NJ a son of Jeanette Benner, Asbury Park, NJ and the late Alden Whateley.  He was employed as an assembler for the Universal Trailer Co., McAdoo, Pa. Survivors includes a son, Richard A. Whateley, Florida, a step daughter Cheyenne Kromer, Pottsville, three half sisters, NJ; brother-in -law Lynford D. (Kathy) Kromer, with whom he resided and his companion,Christine L. Oxner, Andreas, Pa. According to his wishes there will be no public services.
